As the Christmas season arrives it also brings in the cold weather. Christmas coffee is the perfect way to be festive, fun and warm!
This holiday season, ditch the long line at Starbucks (what’s the deal with a Juniper Latte, anyway?) and save your money. Make yourself a quick holiday treat with these Christmas coffee recipes.
1. Gingerbread Latte

The only thing better than warm gingerbread during the winter is a hot gingerbread coffee drink that’s topped with foam.
- Measure 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee (or two shots of espresso) with 1 tablespoon of molasses, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Mix well and pour into a mug.
- Heat 3/4 cups of milk in a small saucepan on the stove until it’s steaming (but not boiling or bubbling).
- Froth your milk using the method of your choice.
- Pour the milk into the mug of coffee, taking care to hold back the froth.
- Finally, spoon the froth on top and sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
