A clubhouse is a building in an apartment or housing community that’s specially dedicated to group activities. Such buildings often include a fitness center, pool, media center and open spaces to relax and hang out.
1. A clubhouse is shared with everyone in the community
A clubhouses is meant for all residents in the community to use and enjoy. It may have set hours of open operation and a monthly or weekly schedule of events and activities in which everyone is invited to participate.

2. You can reserve a clubhouse for a private event
Most living communities with a clubhouse allow residents to make reservations for private activities outside of normal operating hours. You’ll need to make reservations in advance and you may need to pay an additional fee for cleaning. But you can hold events that are too big for your apartment, so you won’t need to worry about cramming all your friends or family into such a small space.
3. Clubhouse fees are part of your rent
Whether or not you use the clubhouse, the fees aren’t optional and maintenance costs are already included in your rent. This means your rent will be a little more expensive, but you’ll have full use of the clubhouse.
A clubhouse is an added bonus
Even if you don’t use the clubhouse often, it’s a great way to meet new people and become part of a living community. Although you’re paying for it, it usually doesn’t add too much to your rent and as long as you’re paying for it, you should take advantage.
